1.1 These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern all prize competitions operated by Link'dUp™ ("the Promoter" or "we" or "us"). The Promoter's registered address is:
1.2 By entering any competition operated by the Promoter, entrants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
2.1 All competitions operated by Link'dUp™ are skill-based prize competitions, not lotteries or games of chance. This is a legal requirement under the Gambling Act 2005 (UK).
2.2 Each competition requires entrants to correctly answer a genuine skill-based question. Entries that do not include a correct answer to the skill question will be void and will not be entered into any draw.
2.3 Because entry requires the exercise of genuine skill, and because a free entry route is available (see Section 5), these competitions are not lotteries and do not require a gambling licence.
2.4 Nothing in these Terms affects or limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, or (for entrants in the Republic of Ireland) the Consumer Protection Act 2007.
2.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that entrants in the Republic of Ireland may also bring proceedings in the Irish courts.
3.1 To be eligible to enter and win, entrants must, at the time of entry:
3.2 The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage. Any entrant who cannot satisfy the eligibility criteria when required to do so may be disqualified and an alternative winner selected.
3.3 Entries made on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Entries made using automated software, bots, or any other artificial means will be disqualified.
4.1 Paid entries may be submitted via the Link'dUp™ website at officiallinkdup.com. Each online entry costs £2.50 (inclusive of any applicable taxes). Link'dUp™ is not registered for VAT; no VAT is charged on entry fees.
4.2 To complete a paid entry, entrants must: (a) provide their full name, email address, and date of birth; (b) correctly answer the skill-based question for that competition; (c) agree to these Terms; and (d) complete payment via Square. Entrants may review and correct all information entered before clicking to pay. Once payment is confirmed via Square, the entry is submitted and cannot be altered.
4.3 Entry is not complete until payment has been successfully processed by Square. A failed or disputed payment does not constitute a valid entry.
4.4 Online entries are non-refundable except in the circumstances set out in Section 13 (Refunds and Cancellation).
4.5 Purchasing multiple entries increases the number of entries attributed to that entrant, subject to the maximum entry limits stated on the relevant competition page.
5.1 No purchase is necessary to enter. Entrants may enter for free by post.
5.2 To enter by post, hand-write the following on a plain piece of paper and send it to the address below: (a) your full name; (b) your date of birth; (c) your email address; (d) the correct answer to the skill-based question for that competition; and (e) the name or number of the competition you are entering.
5.3 One postal entry per envelope. Envelopes containing multiple entries will be counted as a single entry.
5.4 Postal entries must be received (not merely posted) before the competition closing date. Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.
5.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for postal entries that are lost, delayed, damaged, or misdirected.
5.6 Postal entrants have an equal chance of winning per valid entry as paid online entrants.
6.1 Each paid online entry costs £2.50. Entries may be purchased individually or in bundles as displayed on the competition entry page.
6.2 The maximum number of entries per person per competition is stated on the relevant competition page. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that exceed this limit.
6.3 The total maximum number of entries per competition is stated on the relevant competition page. Once the maximum number of total entries is reached, the competition will close to further entries and the closing date will be deemed to have passed.
6.4 The Promoter reserves the right to close a competition to further entries at any time once the maximum entry number has been reached, with notice provided on the website and/or social media channels.
7.1 All entries — whether paid online or free postal — must include a correct answer to the skill-based question specified for that competition.
7.2 Entries submitted without an answer, or with an incorrect answer, will be void and will not be entered into the draw.
7.3 The skill question is designed to require genuine knowledge or judgement and is not a matter of pure chance. This is a legal requirement that distinguishes this competition from a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.
7.4 In the event of a dispute about whether an answer is correct, the Promoter's decision is final.
8.1 The closing date for each competition is stated on the relevant competition page on the Link'dUp™ website.
8.2 Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.
8.3 The Promoter reserves the right to extend or bring forward the closing date of any competition, with reasonable notice provided on the website and/or social media channels. No liability will attach to any such change provided it does not affect entrants' legal rights.
9.1 The winner will be selected by random number generator from all valid, eligible entries that correctly answered the skill-based question.
9.2 The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the competition closing date (or such later date as communicated by the Promoter).
9.3 The draw will be conducted by the Promoter or an independent third party appointed by the Promoter. The Promoter intends to conduct the draw live on its Instagram channel (@OfficialLinkdUp) to ensure transparency.
9.4 The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to winner selection is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw.
10.1 The winner will be notified by email (to the address provided at entry) within seven (7) days of the draw.
10.2 If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the notification email being sent, or is unable or unwilling to comply with these Terms, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner from the remaining valid eligible entries.
10.3 The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity and eligibility before a prize is awarded. Failure to do so within the time stipulated may result in disqualification.
11.1 The prize for Competition #001 — Win the Ultimate Apple Tech Bundle 2026 is: one (1) Apple iPhone 17 Pro (latest 2026 model), one (1) Apple MacBook Pro 2026, one (1) Apple AirPods Max (latest generation), and one (1) Apple Watch Series 10. All products are brand new, sealed, and UK specification.
11.2 One winner will receive the entire bundle. Entry fee: £2.50 per entry. Closing date: 3 June 2026, or earlier if the maximum number of entries is reached.
11.3 No cash alternative to any prize or prize component is available. The prize is personal to the winner and is non-transferable.
11.4 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize item with a product of equivalent or greater retail value if the stated item is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.
11.5 The prize does not include delivery insurance, import duties, or any other costs not explicitly stated. All UK-spec prizes will be delivered within the United Kingdom. Winners based in the Republic of Ireland may be asked to provide a UK delivery address, or the Promoter will arrange delivery to Ireland at no additional cost to the winner.
11.6 Details of forthcoming competitions (#002, #003, #004) will be published on the Link'dUp™ website when those competitions open. These Terms will apply to all future competitions in addition to any specific terms published for that competition.
11.7 Prize availability. The Promoter confirms that reasonable steps have been taken to secure the prize described for Competition #001 prior to the launch of this competition. In the event the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, a prize of equivalent or greater retail value will be substituted in accordance with clause 11.4, and the winner will be notified of any substitution before the prize is dispatched.
12.1 Where a prize includes travel, accommodation, or experiences, the following additional conditions apply.
12.2 The winner and any travel companion must hold valid passports and obtain any required visas. The Promoter is not liable for any failure to travel due to invalid or expired travel documents, visa refusals, or health-related issues.
12.3 Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the winner's sole responsibility. The Promoter does not arrange or fund travel insurance.
12.4 Any travel companion included in the prize must be aged 18 or over (or have written parental or guardian consent if aged under 18 and if applicable law permits their travel).
12.5 Flight, hotel, and itinerary arrangements will be made by the Promoter or a third-party supplier. The winner must cooperate with all booking requirements within the timeframe stipulated. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the travel prize.
12.6 Travel prizes are subject to availability and may be restricted to specific travel dates. The winner must be available to travel during the stated prize period.
13.1 Entry fees paid online are non-refundable except in the circumstances set out in this Section.
13.1A Right to cancel — exemption under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Competitions operated by Link'dUp™ are leisure services for which a specific date or period of performance has been stipulated (the closing date). Accordingly, the statutory 14-day right to cancel that ordinarily applies to distance contracts under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply to competition entry fees. This is by virtue of the exemption at Regulation 28(1)(b) of those Regulations. This does not affect your other statutory consumer rights.
13.2 If the Promoter cancels a competition before the draw takes place, all paid entry fees for that competition will be refunded in full within 14 days to the original payment method used.
13.3 If the Promoter is unable to award the prize as described (including where a prize item is unavailable and no suitable substitute can be found), and the competition has already been drawn, the Promoter will either: (a) offer the winner a prize of equivalent value acceptable to both parties; or (b) provide a full refund of the winner's entry fees only.
13.4 No refund is available on the grounds that the entrant did not win. Entering a competition is not a guarantee of winning.
13.5 Any request for a refund under this Section should be directed to hello@officiallinkdup.com. The Promoter will acknowledge refund requests within 5 business days.
14.1 By entering the competition, entrants agree that the Promoter may use their first name, general location, and the nature of the prize won in any publicity relating to the competition, including on the Link'dUp™ website, YouTube channel, TikTok, and Instagram, without any additional payment or compensation.
14.2 No personal contact details (including full address, email, or telephone number) will be published by the Promoter.
14.3 The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activity connected with the competition (for example, a short video announcement). Participation in any promotional activity is voluntary and the winner may decline.
14.4 Any promotional content produced in connection with the competition will be clearly identified as a promotion in accordance with the ASA/CAP Code and applicable advertising standards requirements.
15.1 Personal data submitted as part of a competition entry will be held and processed by the Promoter in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
15.2 Entry data is processed on the lawful basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) — processing is necessary to administer the competition and fulfil the prize.
15.3 Entry data will be retained for a period of two (2) years from the competition closing date, after which it will be securely deleted, unless retention is required by law or for the resolution of a legal claim.
15.4 Personal data will not be shared with third parties except: (a) where necessary for prize fulfilment (for example, sharing a winner's name and delivery address with a courier or travel supplier); or (b) where required by applicable law or a court order.
15.5 For full details of how the Promoter handles personal data, including your rights of access, rectification, and erasure, please see the Privacy Policy.
16.1 Where the Promoter records or broadcasts content featuring competition entrants or winners (including winner announcements), entrants and winners consent to the recording, editing, and publication of such content on the Promoter's platforms for promotional purposes.
16.2 Such consent is limited to the lawful promotion of the competition and Link'dUp™ brand. Content will not be used in any way that is defamatory, misleading, or damaging to the individual.
16.3 Any individual who has been filmed or recorded in connection with a competition and who objects to publication of that content should contact hello@officiallinkdup.com as soon as possible. The Promoter will give reasonable consideration to all such requests.
16.4 Nothing in this Section limits any individual's rights under UK GDPR to object to the processing of their personal data.
16.5 The Promoter does not own or claim ownership of any intellectual property rights in user-generated content submitted by entrants. Where entrants submit photographs, videos, or other creative content in connection with a competition, they grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for promotional purposes only.
17.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter excludes all liability for:
17.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Promoter's liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.
17.3 The total aggregate liability of the Promoter to any individual entrant in connection with any competition shall not exceed the total entry fees paid by that entrant for that competition.
17.4 The Promoter is not responsible for the quality, safety, or suitability of any prize items sourced from third-party brand partners or suppliers. Warranty claims in respect of prize items should be directed to the relevant manufacturer in accordance with the manufacturer's standard warranty terms.
18.1 All intellectual property rights in the competition materials, including competition pages, questions, branding, and promotional content, are owned by or licensed to Link'dUp™.
18.2 Entrants may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute competition materials (including the skill question) for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Promoter.
18.3 "Link'dUp™" is a trademark of the Promoter. Unauthorised use of this trademark is prohibited.
18.4 Prize items may be subject to the intellectual property rights of third-party manufacturers (including Apple Inc.). The Promoter makes no warranty as to the IP rights attaching to prize items beyond the rights ordinarily conferred by lawful purchase and ownership.
19.1 Force majeure. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend any competition at any time if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so. Such circumstances include, without limitation: acts of God; pandemic or epidemic; national emergency; war, terrorism, or civil unrest; regulatory intervention or change in law; fire, flood, or extreme weather; failure of essential third-party services (including payment processors, postal services, or prize suppliers); and supply chain failure or inability to procure the prize. Where a competition is cancelled before the draw, entry fees will be refunded as set out in Section 13. Where circumstances require the competition to be suspended temporarily, the Promoter will communicate revised arrangements as soon as reasonably practicable on the Link'dUp™ website and/or social media channels.
19.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19.3 The Promoter's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
19.4 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and the entrant in relation to the competition and supersede all prior representations, arrangements, and understandings.
19.5 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments will be published on the Link'dUp™ website. Continued participation in a competition after an amendment is published constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
20.1 Any complaint relating to a competition should be directed in writing to hello@officiallinkdup.com. The Promoter will acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to resolve them within 28 days.
20.2 If a complaint cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, you may seek independent advice from Citizens Advice (UK) or the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Entrants in the Republic of Ireland may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
